About Project
Our client decided to migrate to Shopify from Magento, expecting it to be:
- a more versatile platform, easier to support;
- template, with more features to implement out of the box;
- integration with our key wholesaler to link products to their site from their backend.
In addition to the outdated design on the old site, other critical issues were identified that were crucial in creating a new site on the Shopify platform:
- the search by year, make, and model of car on the old site did not work correctly, which caused a lot of inconvenience to potential customers;
- the absence of any filters and sorting.
The main objective of the new UX/UI design is to increase conversions on the site through the ease of use of individual elements, filters and sorting and a more user-friendly interface.

Results
A business analysis was made, which showed that online sales almost do not bring the desired profit. There is not enough information on the site about some services that the company is actively involved in. Many of the custom Magento features and integrations are outdated and non-functional, further hindering our onlines sales and ability to add new products to the site.
First, our designers made a UX prototype of the main pages of the site. The client really liked our approach and the prototype was approved without additional changes from his side.Based on the prototype, the site design was made taking into account all the wishes of the client based. Our designers have been creative in creating additional pages that are important for business: Services Page, Tuning Page, Racing Page, About Us / Staff PageOur developers got to work as soon as the main pages were approved.
The project progressed well on time, and only work with applications and their support caused difficulties and postponed the launch date. From our side, we provided all kinds of support to our client, helped him, assisted him and were in touch every day.
