About Project
The client’s request included a redesign of the existing site to increase conversions, reorganizing the content structure and navigation to obtain a better user experience. The preparatory phase of the work included a thorough and detailed collection of data about the client’s business and key issues identified on their old site. This was done using Hotjar analysis and QA testing of his old site. In addition a study of the client’s business niche and main competitors was performed based on a detailed brief filled out by the client.
This way we were able to identify the main issues that prevented the site from increasing the conversion rate. Among the main problems were the following:
- The site’s performance was very low.
- The site design was outdated and looked “old-fashioned” against the competitors.
- The site had problems with the navigation (it was very confusing) and the filtering logic.
- Fitment functionality worked poorly (most competitors use such functionality on their sites).
- There were a lot of bugs and problems with the code.
- Problems with the form of content submission.

Results
Based on a thorough analysis and the results of the preparatory phase of the project, our team of business analysts and UX-designers developed detailed prototypes for the main pages of the site in order to meet all requirements and wishes and to use the best modern user practices. This allowed the client to see the future structure of the main pages of the site in mobile and desktop versions already at the prototyping stage. The main emphasis was placed on the Home page, navigation and filtering logic on the collections page.
The process of creating the final UI page layouts included not only the main page elements but also other important additional materials such as banners, widgets, forms, etc.
Our developers did their best to implement all the necessary functionality. We paid special attention to integration of the Fitment application on the Home page and the product page, filtering logic on the collections page, navigation restructuring, etc. We also developed custom sections with custom logic for the Home Page to increase conversion rates. Each stage of development was thoroughly tested by our QA team.
We helped our client publish the new version of the site and created a special guide for the content manager on how to work with the new Shopify theme. We always support our clients with various questions and potential issues. Currently we are continuing to cooperate on other tasks within the framework of the current project, providing comprehensive technical support
